Koharu Tachikawa is an interesting modern performer from the well‑known Tachikawa‑ryu rakugo school. She trained a lot under the master Tachikawa Danshun. Over twenty years she has worked hard to improve her skill following the path of old rakugo training until she reached the prized rank of shinuchi which means she is a real rakugo master. Fans notice Koharu Tachikawa for her stage energy and quick jokes. She keeps pushing the limits of this traditional art. To celebrate Koharu Tachikawa’s year in the business this special show goes out at the same time, as her first official rakugo album and a set of collected audio recordings.
